Two Of A Kind (NOT)

It's a good thing I'm so taken with my new sock because the Black Socks are a bitter disappointment. They most definitely are not a matched pair. The Husband, who is usually silent on all matters wooly, made a suggestion. "Why don't you just knit two more like the ones you already made?" I carefully explained that knitting two more socks will involve another yarn puchase. Said yarn purchase has been pre-approved, so when I figure out what I've done so horribly wrong to Second Black Sock I will take care of that business. I also need to carefully re-examine First Black Sock since my notes are gone. This could get ugly. I refuse to knit more than two pairs of these. If both New Black Socks turn out as crappy as the first 'pair', I might have to frog them all. I shudder at the thought.
