I Hate To Be Right

I haven't really been that busy, but I have been doing stuff. Not much of it involves yarn, but all in all, vacation hasn't been too bad. It hasn't been ideal because I've had to go in to work some, but still a few days off is a few days off and I'm glad to have them. Hopefully, I'll have some pictures of a finished project soon.
So I came home the other day and there was this box of yarn waiting for me. (yay UPS guy!) I probably shouldn't have opened it, but I did. I've never had any sock yarn from Knit Picks before, so you know, I had to check it out, right? It knits beautifully on size 1 DPN's, by the way. Oh, the baby cardi? Yeah, it's still here, but the baby's still not, so I'm not worried about that yet. And that black alpaca shawl? That one might not be ready for a Christmas gift this year. We'll see. But give me a break! Socks! Every body else is doing it! Why not? Besides, Peruvian wool. I couldn't help myself.
If you had to spend a whole day doing anything, it might as well be something fun. How fun is celebrating a toddler's birthday? How 'bout this:
What color and brand of yarn does this translate to? I love fall!
There's always a knitted piece of something in the recliner. So when I went to move it out of the way Husband says "Oh, a cat bra, that's pretty." I love my cat, so I would never, ever make her a cat bra. Unless she asked for one. I don't see that happening. Don't these look at least a little like tot socks? Well, the toe of a pair of tot socks.
This is, of course, a day late, but Aunt EE needs to know how much we enjoyed her birthday. Take it away Tot.........
