Lots or Knitting

I couldn't be bothered to collect photographic evidence of this alleged knitting, but I swear I have at least half a dozen projects on the needles. I have a couple on crochet hooks too. There's also yarn in the mail (sock yarn of course). Of the current projects, only 4 are socks (that's 4 different pairs, not just 4 single socks). Wait, three pair on the needles and then the sock yarn that hasn't made an appearance yet. Oh, and the other, other pair that I haven't started but went as far as sticking a handful of US0's in the ball. That would be five pair if I was keeping track. And I'm only sort of keeping track because I'm trying to keep up with how many of which size needles I still have available. Then there's the pink and green shawl that's coming along very nicely. More than halfway through that one. I'm not in a huge hurry to finish it because I'm enjoying the knitting so much. I really do like the feel of the Helen's Lace and it's been fun to watch how the colors are going to line up or pool.

Maybe I won't be too lazy to get some pics of the new sock yarn when it arrives. It's Schaeffer and I've never tried any before, but I was told that I would probably want more after I got acquainted with it. Right now, I've got a lapful of fat cat that needs my attention and a piece of crochet of the side that she might let me fool around with.....Sam! Get your big, fluffy, black butt off my white cotton yarn, please ma'am!
